BG reduces time from submission to initial decision

Biogeosciences (BG) has now significantly reduced the number of editor calls, which will speed up the assignment of manuscripts to associate editors and thus reduce the maximum time from submission to initial decision by at least two weeks. The current average time from submission to initial decision is 26 days. For manuscripts raising the immediate interest of an associate editor, time from submission to initial decision can be as short as a single day.
